My 14 yr old niece, Cheyenne Lively. Will be having her 4th surgery tomorrow. This will be a surgery to place either a gj tube or j tube so that she can continue receiving nutrition and hopefully be able to come home soon. She's been in the hospital since June for 3 heart surgeries. Each surgery was between 13 to 17 hours long. Any surgery now, no matter how simple, is a major danger for her. The last one they lost her. They even had all family called in because they didn't think they'd be able to revive her. She still has a long road to recovery, and even after tomorrow's surgery, she will still need at least 2 more surgeries to place a stent in her aorta and a surgery to try and repair part of her vocal cords because they had to sever her left vocal cord during her 1st surgery.
