The Virtual Prayer Rally will be held online, via Zoom. The link to the Virtual Prayer Rally can be accessed by going into our online Community, clicking on the “Events Calendar”. This will open the Events Calendar page. Find the Virtual Prayer Rally link on the day you are attending and click that meeting box. A pop-up box will open in the center of your window. Click the blue “Join The Event Now” button in the Virtual Event Details section. This will open Zoom in a new tab in your web browser or, if you have the Zoom app installed on your device, it will open the Zoom app on your device.

We will have a time of Praise & Worship from 6:00pm to roughly 7:00-7:15pm. As soon as the Praise & Worship portion of the Rally is ended, we will begin praying. The “Host” will open with prayer and when he finishes praying, we will take turns going around the room and allow anyone that chooses to pray aloud to do so.

Our “It Ain’t Over Virtual Prayer Rally” has been designed and assigned as a “PRAYER RALLY”! That means that this is not the time to chit-chat, shoot-the-breeze, catch up on the latest happenings with others, chew-the-fat, or carry on any type of meaningless conversations that can take place via other avenues and at different times. This “Prayer Rally” is a time to rally the troops and should be considered a Holy Convocation and a Holy, Sacred, Sanctified time for us to meet with the Lord God Almighty. We do not have time in/during this meeting for any type of joking, jesting, or anything that is not of a serious nature as this is a time for us to get and be serious about what we are gathering for and the utmost importance of our time together with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if you are found to be anything less than serious during this Holy Convocation, we will simply “boot/kick” you out of the meeting and disable your ability to return to the current meeting in progress.

We will take turns praying, going around the “room” and allowing whoever wants to participate, to pray. You may take as long as you feel led, or as little time as you feel led to pray. You may pray about whatever it is that is on your heart; just pray as the Holy Spirit leads you to pray.

We will try our best to arrange the “order” of the people praying beforehand, but this may not be possible for every meeting. With that being understood, we must remember the Biblical admonition to “Be ready (instant-KJV) in season and out of season…” – 2 Timothy 4:2.

If, while someone is praying, you feel led to be the next one to pray, simply click the “raise hand” icon/button at the bottom of your screen. I will know that since you have “raised your hand” that you are next in line to pray. When the current person praying finishes praying, I will call on the next person in line with their “hand raised”.

Be expected to pray aloud during the meeting multiple times, if you choose to pray aloud. And by this, if you end up repeating something that has already been “prayed” by another person in the room, or something that you have previously prayed, know that that is totally fine. We do not consider this “repetitious praying” (chanting), and this is perfectly Biblical to do so.

We will continue this process of praying around the room until everyone who desires to pray aloud, has had a chance to do so. We will commence our time of corporate prayer and proceed to close out the Virtual Prayer Rally with a short testimony or praise report from anyone who desires to share, and then 2 or 3 worship songs as a time to reflect on everything that has been prayed for, and as a time for us to just sit in His Presence and listen for His still small voice.

If you don’t feel comfortable praying aloud, then you certainly don’t have to, and no one will try to force you to. If you choose not to pray aloud, you are more than welcome to still join us and agree with us silently in prayer. If you would like to pray aloud, you are certainly encouraged to do so.

A NOTE ON “PRAYER LANGUAGE”, “PRAYER TONGUES”, “PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT”, ETC…

While we of It Ain’t Over Ministries are “Full-Gospel” and Classic Pentecostal in Faith & Practice, we understand that not every one of the Christian Faith is on the same page Doctrinally & Theologically. With that being understood, we (I.A.O.M.) do believe in, practice daily, and encourage other believers to use their “Prayer Language” of “Tongues”. These “tongues” are not the “gift of tongues” mentioned in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 12, & 14:20-40. The “Gift of Tongues” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12, & 14:20-40, are always accompanied by and with the “Gift of Interpretation of Tongues”, through either another believer, or the one being moved upon by the Holy Spirit to speak in tongues. You may check out our teaching on “The Spiritual Gifts” on the Remnant Bible Academy website for a more fuller revelation and Biblical understanding of the spiritual gifts.

It is with the above understanding in place that we add here the “proper” use of your “prayer language” in the It Ain’t Over Virtual Prayer Rally.

We are expecting all participants to pray in their native language (tongue) for the majority of the time they are praying in the group out loud. We understand that there are times that the Holy Spirit comes upon a person and moves him/her with an ecstatic utterance (prayer tongue) while and during the time the person is praying in their native language. This is a sporadic occurrence and should be kept to a minimum without grieving the Holy Spirit and causing confusion within the prayer rally in the process.

Meaning that your entire prayer, nor a large lengthy portion of your prayer, should be “in tongues” while in the corporate setting; nor should a large portion of your time praying out loud in the corporate setting be done in your “prayer language”.

Please DO NOT TRY TO TELL US THAT, “YOU CAN’T HELP IT”! That is RUBBISH of the highest degree!

Here’s why:

1 Corinthians 14:26-40 (NKJV)26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. 28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others (prophets) judge. 30 But if anything is revealed to another (prophet) who sits by, let the first keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. 36 Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? 37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

It should be absolutely, abundantly & undeniably clear from the Scripture passage above how we are to behave, act, carry ourselves, and hold a “Church Service” and/or “Prayer Meeting”!

Again, this passage is not referring to (vss 27-28) the “Prayer Language” of tongues.

So, while we do plan on maintaining an atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit is allowed free reign to move as He sees fit during our Virtual Prayer Rally’s, we must remember too that, “God is not the author of confusion…” – (vs 33 above).

It is also important to understand that you have the ability to “control” yourself at all times. The Holy Spirit is not going to move upon you to make you or force you to do something or act out of order at any point in your life and especially not during a Holy Convocation! Verse 32 in the above passage states that your spirit is subject to (controlled by) you! “Self-Control” is a Fruit of the Spirit – (Galatians 5:23).

So, with all of that being said, at this point we wish to convey that it is our desire to hold these Virtual Prayer Rally’s in an order/manner that brings glory and honor to God and that they be a pleasing aroma in His nostrils, so that we may be able to persuade Him to move upon all of the requests that we make known to Him so that we may be partakers of the manifestations and answers to our prayers.

If you feel led at any time during the rally to use your awesome gift of prayer tongues, we ask that you remember what has been conveyed above and do so within the parameters set forth herein. If you should feel the desire to use your prayer language while it is your turn praying aloud during the meeting, then do so with the understanding that it should be kept short & sweet.

If you are led to pray in tongues while others in the room are praying out loud, you may “mute” your microphone while the others are praying aloud and pray in your prayer language to your hearts content!

If we feel like you are using your prayer language for too lengthy of a time, we will simply mute your microphone and politely move on to the next person in line to pray.

Also, lastly, understand that some people, while praying, will have moments of silence while they are praying. By this they are either listening to the Holy Spirit about what to pray for and/or how to pray. These “moments of silence” should also be kept brief so that we can maintain order and allow each individual in the meeting the time they desire to pray as they see fit.

We will know that the person currently praying has ended their prayer by having each person who prays aloud, close their time of prayer with, “In Jesus’ Name, Amen”, or something along that line.
